History

SEPAWA is a specialist association with a long tradition, whose history goes back to the year 1755. Already back then, the production of soap required qualified specialist knowledge for the saponifcation process, with which skin-friendly soap bars from fats and oils and high-quality well-scented toilet soaps were made. The fast, practice-oriented adaptation of new scientific results, the permanent improvement of the chemical and technical basis of technology as well as the requirements for growing developing markets will continue to be the main tasks for SEPAWA and its members.
