SEPAWA Sektion Norden was founded in December 1999.
It has approx. 112 members.

The purpose of the association is to encourage the practical and scientific education within the subject fields cosmetics-, parfume,- wash- and detergent chemistry. In order to achieve the goals, the Section will organize seminars, conferences and lectures, further organize education of members and promote cooperation with other associations within the subject fields.

This year a seminar with topics of technical and legal affaires was organized at Gothenburg. The meeting took place from 12th – 13th May at Novotel in Gothenburg were five lectures were given. The seminar started with a visit at Gothenburg Maritime Museum, a floating museum including to go on board of a submarine.
