The expert group PRP will be dealing with the following topics in the future:

“The focus of the SEPAWA expert group “Professional Cleaning & Care (PCP)” includes the application of tensides, polymers and complexers as well as active agents and auxiliary agents in industrial and institutional processes and cleaning procedures such as car cleaning/care, textile treatment, metal cleaning, professional cleaning, cleaning in the catering trade.

As such, the expert group has an integral approach towards the subject, beginning with basic research, considering functions and effects as well as application forms in the different application fields, reviewing formulation systems and finally evaluating the latest advancements in the field of mechanic equipments.

The focus is on the transfer of know-how about possible solutions from the different industries. Furthermore, the expert group collaborates with leading universities and technical colleges. In this way up to date topics from science are transferred into practice and vice versa, then these are discussed and possible solutions are found for the benefit of all.”

During the general meeting of the expert group PRP in Würzburg, on 12.10.2005, Dr. Felix Müller, Degussa AG, was elected manager. Dr. Martin Stolz, Sasol GmbH, Thomas Hoffmann and Reto Haess, IMPAG Schweiz, were unanimously elected as the board of directors.

As already announced this year, the expert group together with the SEPAWA National Group West will hold a joint discourse event in Gladbeck on November 25, 2005.

The first event of the SEPAWA expert group PRP is scheduled for March 16, 2006 at the business site of Degussa/Goldschmidt, in Essen. During this event one of the topics relevant to the expert group will be discussed in its entirety.
