Biopolax is a developer, patent-holder, and manufacturer of innovative plant-based ingredients for eco-friendly home and personal care products. Driven by a mission to accelerate the transition toward sustainable chemistry, Biopolax offers high-performance, biodegradable alternatives to conventional surfactants, thickeners, and solubilisers.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Biopolax (Biopolymers Limited) is 100% Swiss-owned and employs a team of around 20 specialists. At the heart of the company lies a strong R&D capability, with in-house new product development and formulation labs enabling rapid innovation and customisation.

Biopolax holds two patent families covering novel molecule structures and technologies, with IP protection established across Europe, the USA, China, Japan, and additional jurisdictions. The company is a recipient of the EU Horizon 2020 SME Instrument grant and the prestigious Seal of Excellence award from the European Commission.

Biopolax manufactures in Germany and operates warehousing in the Czech Republic and Thailand, where it is also establishing local production capacity. To support our customers globally, we collaborate with a growing network of distributors. We are currently represented by OQEMA in France, Spain, and Portugal, and by Pon Pure Chemicals in India. We are actively expanding our global reach and seeking new distribution partners in key regions.

Glucover 02 NP
A mild, plant-derived degreasing agent that can replace ethoxylated surfactants in ECOCERT-compliant formulations. Ideal for both personal and home care products.

Dimereco ZL10
A zwitterionic Gemini surfactant and strong solubiliser designed to enhance makeup removers and sulphate-free formulations. Offers excellent emulsification performance and is exceptionally gentle on skin.

Sugartend LG01/LG02
A blend of Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate and Lauryl Glucoside, this sulphate-free surfactant provides excellent foaming and thickening in transparent formulations.
